Well, we have all separated into our home-stays now, so many of the next posts will be giving information about Amelia and Mimi and their days. Just kidding! We will try to incorporate everyones experiences.
Forgive the terrible grammar, but you know these weird European keyboards are all just crazy. It is impossible to find the apostrophies and question marks!
Anyways, our agenda for the day was quite simple: go from the hostel to the bus station and take the bus to Siena where we would meet our wonderful homestay hosts. After that, we went to our homes. This is where everyone separated into their rooms. Ilana with Ashley, Grace with Noam, and Amelia with Mimi. I dont know about Ilana and Ashley but the other two pairs were allowed to roam around the city and, eventually, met up with each other at random in the big Piazza. That's right, this city is so beautifully minute that meeting each other is incredibly possible. what whaaaaat...
We totally thought we would lose a lot of weight from all the walking that is so easily done, but boy were we wrong! The secret to why Italians eat so much is because they. walk. EVERYWHERE.
Seriously, though, three course meal? Don't mind if I do! First course: spaghetti with tomato sauce (gotta entertain us Americans with food we expect, right?) Second course: chicken cutlets soaked in lemon with a salad with fresh baby tomatoes. I bet your mouth is watering right? Last course: gelato! Yepppp!
Well, after our showers and Facebook-ing and whatnot, we are ready to watch our Italian programs (not for entertainment, but for our education. YES.)
Ciao,
-Prego!
