Just when we thought we were done with school, and we could relax out in the Piazza, buy gelato, shoes, cute panties (maaybe a glass of wine?) we find ourselves tripping over our feet to the kitchen to shovel breakfast in our before a nice walk to Societa Dante Alighieri, our new school. Some of the girls live just down the street, others are not so fortunate. Seven-thirty jog, anyone?
I jest, it's a very nice school with a student body like a box of chocolates; there are plenty American students (duuh), but there are also a few from Japan and even a woman from Russia. Right? Who knew. For the sake of someone who will not be named, the learning levels of the girls will not be disclosed. She is embarrassed.
But after school, Amelia and Mimi got a nice surprise when Amelia's mamma, her friends Jesse and Bianca, and a very colorful pair of paints dropped in from Florence for a couple days! While Amelia loves her mamma dearly, she is even more happy she won't have to pay for anything for a couple days!! Amelia and Mimi were treated to an unbelievable, multi-course meal with five tipsy women and the most adorable waiter and even got a few sips of the vino themselves. But don't pass that on.
Baaasically, it's been just another breathtaking day in Siena, Tuscany, and we can only hope to top tomorrow with some greater adventure. Maybe a nice Italian boy to take you out for pizza? We'll just have to see.
Ciao for now!
